Generally, these were more diverse and smaller than in previous months, with the exception of Reynolds’ $4.5bn acquisition of Graham Packaging.
11 were in alcohol, eight in soft drinks, four in dairy, four in packaging and three in ingredients. The US dominated, with 11 all-US deals, eight international purchases and three sales abroad.
The UK followed with involvement in eight transactions. Next came France on three, with 24 other countries playing a role in one or two.
