365 Retail Markets has launched a redesigned version of its 365Pay payment app, which now features an enhanced navigation experience, audio-accessibility and targeted promotions.
365Pay is a virtual wallet which allows consumers to add funds, view purchase history, pay across multiple locations, and manage their account in one place.
According to 365 Retail Markets, the core priority of the redesign was to improve the way that operators engage with customers, allowing businesses to target consumers with curated offers at the point of sale while simultaneously providing an optimised user experience.
The main menu options for navigation are now located at the bottom of the screen rather than at the side, and the main menu lists the current account balance and a QR code which can be scanned at 365’s micro markets and vending machines to pay for products.
An inbox feature is now included in the app, which can be used by operators to send push notifications about offers, as well as targeted interactive content.
365 Retail Markets also claims that the app is also the first mobile payment app in foodservice convenience industry to offer audio-accessibility, meaning that checking out and managing accounts is now possible for individuals who are visually impaired. The built-in accessibility tools provide users with a swipe and touch-based app that reads what they click on out loud.
Ryan McWhirter, director of product at 365 Retail Markets said: “The redesigned 365Pay app is a destination that allows operators to connect with their consumers like never before, allowing for immediate feedback, operator awareness and the beginning of a new age in foodservice management.”
