Diners at the Harrods Italian pop-up restaurant, Stelle di Stelle, were treated to gourmet cuisine from famed three Michelin-starred Florentine restaurant, Enoteca Pinchiorri, whilst sipping on fine dining water, Acqua Panna, as part of the launch of Acqua Panna’s new ornate, Tuscan-themed label.
Inspired by its Tuscan roots, the new, contemporary design for the natural mineral water features the iconic and beautiful Tuscan landscape alongside the words ‘Toscana’ and ‘Italia’.
Created to evoke the terroir, tastes and quality associated with the lifestyle in Tuscany, this contemporary classic has been refined with a fresh style to communicate the water’s rich Italian heritage and Tuscan origins.
According to the brand, ‘Acqua Panna has the rare ability to enhance the most delicate tastes and is perfectly placed as the natural mineral water of choice to accompany the decadent dishes served by chef patron of Enoteca Pinchiorri at Stelle di Stelle, Annie Féolde’.
Féolde’s cuisine is inspired by living in the capital of Tuscany as she uses all-Italian local ingredients to blend traditional Italian cooking with modern creativity, techniques and flavours. The fine dining water of Acqua Panna unveils these full taste expressions to allow a unique dining sensation to amplify Féolde’s dining experience with a Toscana touch. Enoteca Pinchiorri’s one-month residency at Stelle di Stelle is offering a special edit of its signature dishes with a menu created exclusively for the pop-up restaurant. Dishes include drowned egg with white Alba truffle and Grana Padano cream; fusilli with artichokes, scampi and powdered liquorice; and roasted lamb loin with a Tuscan speciality, polenta incatenata. The menu is paired not only with Acqua Panna but also S.Pellegrino and a selection of Italian wines and beers such as Gaja Sito Moresco, Benefizio Riserva Pomino, Ferrari Rosé Brut NV, and Birra Moretti.
Stelle di Stelle will be open in Harrods until the end of January 2015, and continue to welcome some of Italy’s best restaurants to take up residency in the store’s wine cellars. The line-up continues in January with Piazza Duomo in Alba, which is on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
The new-look design for Acqua Panna natural mineral water will be available in fine dining restaurants and in leading supermarkets across the UK from January 2015.
