British beverage brand Actiph has unveiled an alkaline, antioxidant water designed for those ‘who want to live an active lifestyle to the full’.
The drink is created by purifying spring water, adding electrolytes and supercharging by ionisation. This process is said to create a water an with alkalinity of pH9.5+.
Actiph aims to tap into the growing functional water trend as it goes on sale in the UK.
Jamie Douglas-Hamilton, founder of Actiph, said: “Actiph Water is unlike any other water, it’s not just a water and not just a sports or health drink, it is the birth of a whole new category and that is exciting for retailers.

The beverage is available in 600ml and 1 litre bottles, retailing at £1.39 and £1.99 respectively.
