The new offering combines Air Products’ Freshline Liquid Nitrogen Injection Solution with Weiler’s mixer and mixer-grinder technologies.
The combined technologies are ideally suited for red meat applications and may be applicable for the poultry, fish, seafood and vegetable markets. With the new joint offering, products are quickly blended into a homogenous mix while being cooled consistently and rapidly using the LIN-IS’s cryogenic technology.
The Freshline LIN-IS and Weiler’s mixer-grinders are designed to the latest hygienic standards and can be connected to a Clean-In-Place system. Operation, cleaning and maintenance are simplified through full software integration.
“Customers are placing increasing emphasis on productivity,” said Uwe Rosenbaum, Air Products’ new business development manager, food. “Our relationship with Weiler enables us to increase our customers’ efficiency while maintaining high quality standards and ensuring food safety. The combination of Freshline LIN-IS and Weiler’s mixer-grinder technology can improve quality and achieve valuable cost-savings.”
“Pooling our knowledge and experience means we can offer processors the best of both worlds,” said Dave Stone, general manager – Europe, Africa & Middle East, Weiler Beehive Ltd. “With Air Products’ support, we look forward to surpassing our customers’ expectations and optimising grinding, mixing and cooling performance. We can now respond to some of the most difficult technical and processing challenges, resulting in a more efficient and cost-effective manufacturing process and an improved bottom line for our customers.”
