Aiya Matcha has launched a new line of sweetened matcha tea sachets which allow consumers to create green matcha tea drinks at home.
According to Aiya, the Sweetened Matcha To Go product features a sweetened blend of Aiya’s culinary grade matcha and pure cane sugar.
Each box of the product contains eight sachets/sticks, while each serving contains around 45 calories.
To prepare a café-inspired matcha latte, consumers need to pour the contents of one sachet in a container filled with dairy or non-dairy hot or cold milk.
Fumi Sugita, president of Aiya America, said: “Our goal was to create a consumer-friendly product that would be a healthy, convenient alternative to today’s sugary beverages.
“By providing tasty healthy treats in the market, we aim to reinforce Aiya’s mission of sharing the overall goodness and versatility of matcha.”
Nathan Effron, retail sales manager of Aiya America, added: “The growth we have experienced as a brand over the past few years is consistent with the increased interest in Matcha worldwide, and we plan to launch in additional stores nationwide in the near future.”
Sweetened Matcha To Go product is available from selected US retailers including Publix, H-E-B, and New Seasons Market, as well as selected Whole Foods Market stores across Northern California, the southern Pacific, and midwestern regions.
