US ice cream brand Alden’s Organic has added to its novelty product line with the launch of orange cream bars.
The ice cream is made from cow’s milk not treated with the artificial growth hormone rBST or antibiotics, and has no high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners.
Alden’s Organic vice president Michelle Hunt said: “We’ve captured the summer feeling of long, care-free afternoons with our new organic orange cream bar. It’s so good we’re calling it summer on a stick.
“We’ve transformed a classic citrus favourite with clean, organic ingredients that marry refreshing, organic orange sherbet swirled with creamy, organic vanilla ice cream.”
The orange bars join four other dairy novelties recently launched by Alden’s: double fudge bars, chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, birthday cake ice cream sandwich, and strawberry ice cream sandwich.
The addition of these items brings Alden’s novelty line to a total of ten items. The five new products, available in packages of four per box, are available in the US with a recommended retail price of between $4.99 and $5.99.
Last year, Alden’s released pumpkin spice and pink peppermint stick ice creams as a response to consumer demand for seasonal flavours.
