Packaging and carton manufacturer The Alexir Partnership has launched an eye-catching pack design to accompany Fairfields Farm Crisps’ expansion into the airline and travel markets.
The crisps are made from potatoes grown on Fairfields’ 600-acre Suffolk farm, and the company places a significant emphasis on the provenance of its ingredients. It approached Alexir last year, as it sought to meet an apparent demand for premium products with a record of provenance in the airline and travel sectors.
The newly repackaged crisps are now available on Scandinavian routes of carrier Finnair.
Fairfields Farm Crisps’ Tim Came said: “I have worked with many packaging specialists over the years but none have impressed me as much as Alexir. The team are both proactive and reactive and get tasks completed incredibly quickly. Not only that, but we see them as a partner rather than a supplier – the level of support they provide is way ahead of similar businesses.”
