Aloe vera juice brand Simplee Aloe has added a new flavour, designed to complement its existing range of variants.
Packed with the natural goodness of aloe vera, Simplee Aloe’s latest product is blended with superberries such as açaí and antioxidant-rich blueberries.
The new addition comes amid growth in the UK aloe vera juice category, which is currently worth £4 million according to Kantar Worldpanel and has tripled in size in the last year due to rocketing consumer demand. Simplee Aloe claimed to be at the forefront of this growth with sales of its aloe vera juice products accounting for almost half of the national total, it said.
Central to Simplee Aloe’s success is its unique offering, which, unlike other aloe vera drinks, provides consumers with all the functional benefits of aloe vera in a great-tasting and all-natural juice drink. The range is made from the finest ingredients, never uses concentrates and every carton contains at least 35% aloe vera, produced from the inner gel and not the whole leaf. It contains no preservatives, added sugar or bits and only uses naturally occurring ingredients, Simplee Aloe said.
Simplee Aloe co-founder Alex Lai commented: “When we launched our second SKU back in January, it was very well-received. Consumers were delighted that they could choose between two flavours to enjoy the benefits of aloe vera with. Simplee Aloe superberries joins the brand’s existing grape and lemon, and apple and mango, varieties.
