Frozen dessert brand Arctic Zero has launched a range of five “chunky pint” varieties of its low-calorie, lactose-free dessert.
Available in chocolate chip, buttery pecan, cookie dough chip, cool mint chip and key lime pie flavours, they offer a decadent yet healthy dessert option for 75 calories per serving. Rich in both protein and fibre, the desserts “incorporate chunks of delicious treats… into the brand’s legendary creamy, lactose-free base,” the company said.
It added: “Arctic Zero’s Chunky Pints join a fleet of fit frozen desserts, including creamy pints with 150 calories per pint and chocolate-dipped bars with 80 calories per bar. Made with premium, GMO-free ingredients, including the finest quality whey protein and antioxidant-rich monk fruit, the nutrition-packed fit frozen desserts are the perfect way to taste the sweet life with zero guilt.
“Arctic Zero never uses any artificial flavours, sweeteners or colours and helps those looking for a post-workout snack, watching their weight or following a special diet be their best.”
Founder Greg Holtman said: “Our new Chunky Pints represent a culmination of years of development at Arctic Zero and there is nothing else like them on the market. We wanted to bring traditional ice cream favorites to customers in a fresh and exciting, health-conscious way. With the addition of our Chunky Pints to the Arctic Zero line-up, we have a complete range of products to suit every taste, with even more options for those seeking nutritious indulgences that still satisfy.”
Arctic Zero has a recommended retail price of between $4 and $5, and will be available in retailers across the US market including Safeway, Walmart and Whole Foods Market.
