Vegetable juice brand B.Fresh has announced the latest addition to its range of pulp-free, cold-pressed drinks.
New #totalbeets combines 95% beetroot and 5% lemon, and “is bursting with goodness and nutrition”. The company is targeting the new product towards sport-conscious consumers, claiming that the root vegetable is “recognised to enhance sport performance by boosting endurance”.
In January, we reported on new research that found that 250ml of beetroot juice every day was enough to lower blood pressure and reduce the likelihood of coronary disease such as heart attacks and strokes.
“B.Fresh hopes this new launch will be a tasty way for consumers to get the necessary beetroot juice into their daily diets and stay healthy,” the company said. The names of its range of flavour combinations are styled as hashtags, which help the brand to increase consumer engagement on social media.
B.Fresh founder Philip Maddocks said: “Beetroot is a vegetable currently used in our other drinks, and we are excited to launch #Totalbeets to extend our range and create a drink to offer greater health benefits to a more specific audience. Total Beets is a surprisingly light, refreshing juice with a zesty note from the lemon inclusion, whereas our other beetroot drink #Rockthebeets has an earthiness to it.”
