Bahlsen has announced the launch of new Pick Up! Minis, consisting of thick chocolate sandwiched between two crisp biscuits.
The new Pick Up! Minis offering is set to bring incremental sales to the family biscuits segment, Bahlsen said. The biscuits will be available in two different flavours: milk chocolate, to mirror the existing Pick Up! variant in the UK; and chocolate and milk as a brand new offering with a milk cream core inside the chocolate.
Available to purchase in packs of ten individually wrapped portions, they will sit in the biscuit aisle in supermarkets and will be sold with a “competitive price point” of £1.29 per pack.
The launch capitalises on the success of Bahlsen’s existing Pick Up! range, which is currently worth £4.8m, with value sales up 32.5% year on year.

Last year alone, more than 79,000 incremental households bought Pick Up! and our new Pick Up! Minis launch is set to increase this figure.
