UK-based independent brewer Bath Ales is bringing a seasonal ale back to pumps, following year-on-year increases in sales.
Golden Hare will be rolled out across Bath Ales pubs from early February until April. It is a 4.4% ABV ale brewed using floor-malted Maris Otter barley and Goldings hops, and is “perfect for the time of year,” according to its brewers.
Bath Ales head brewer Gerry Condell said: “As it’s so popular, Golden Hare is available all year round in bottle and it’s great this delicious, dependable ale will be back on tap too from February to April for another year.
“Golden Hare is one of our most well-received seasonal ales and is a top choice for spring. Before you even take your first sip full of wonderful zesty flavours, you’re embraced by aromas of honey, lemon and orange. This light ale is smooth yet dry and brimming with condition which is a winning formula.
“We’ve already had regulars asking after Golden Hare thanks to the unique character of this brew so I anticipate that it won’t hang around for long.
Mark Harding, sales director at Bath Ales, said: “Golden Hare always performs very well at the pumps and we’re hopeful this will be repeated this year. Our priority continues to be on producing top quality beer which our customers return for again and again.”
