Cake manufacturer BBF Limited is launching a range of The Elf on the Shelf mini gift cakes in the UK.
The new product was created in collaboration with Rocket Licensing and The Lumistella Company, as BBF says more consumers regard The Elf on the Shelf brand as part of Christmas celebrations.
Rolling out exclusively into Asda stores this week, the cakes feature a madeira sponge filled with frosting, as well as plum and raspberry jam. Available in four different designs, the celebration cakes are covered with soft icing and finished with an edible plaque.
“The Elf on the Shelf is a globally-renowned brand, so we’re thrilled to be partnering with Rocket Licensing and The Lumistella Company on the much-anticipated new cake to help consumers across the UK celebrate the upcoming festive season,” said Jonathan Lill, CEO of BBF Limited.
Earlier this year, Kellogg announced the release of a new The Elf on the Shelf collaboration cereal.
Charlie Donaldson, joint managing director of Rocket Licensing, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with BBF on The Elf on the Shelf this Christmas, as we mark the biggest year for the brand to date.
“It’s a fantastic festive product and we are excited for this new celebration cake to contribute to the creation of special family moments in homes across the UK this Christmas season.”
Last year, BBF Limited collaborated with Nestlé Professional to release Simply Delicious Cupcakes Made with Rolo.
