Ben & Jerry’s has introduced a new ‘light’, low-calorie ice cream line called Moo-phoria, which will be available to US consumers.
Packaged in one-pint tubs, the Moo-phoria range will initially be available in three flavours: Peanut butter dough, chocolate milk & cookies and caramel cookie fix.
Pots contain between 140 and 160 calories per 1/2 tub serving, and contain 60-70% less fat and 35% fewer calories than “traditional ice cream”, according to the brand.
All flavours are made with organic milk and cream and contain no artificial sugar substitutes.
Dena Wimette, senior innovation manager at Ben & Jerry’s said: “Ben & Jerry’s tries to offer a little bit of something for everyone.
We’re excited to have an incredible new option for our fans who say they can’t be trusted with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s in their freezers.”
The full Moo-phoria range will be released nationwide in the US, with a suggested retail price of $4.89 per tub.
