Beyond Better Foods has unveiled the latest addition to its Enlightened feel-good frozen dessert range with sugar-free ready-to-bake cookies.
The cookies are available in three variations: chocolate chip, P.B. chocolate chunk and double chocolate.
The new range is made with zero grams of added sugar and two grams of net carbohydrates.
Enlightened uses healthier ingredients, including allulose, a low-calorie rare sugar, and Bay State Milling Company’s HealthSense, a high-fibre wheat flour, which delivers up to ten times the amount of dietary fibre.
Michael Shoret, Enlightened founder and CEO, said: “There are few things better than a warm and gooey cookie straight out of the oven. Until now, we’ve had to decide between having a cookie loaded with sugar or compromise taste and texture for a ‘healthier’ alternative. With these cookies, there is no compromise. They are soft and chewy, taste incredible and just happen to have no sugar added.”
Each keto-friendly cookie bakes in under 15 minutes.
The ready-to-bake cookies, available in packs of 12 with an RRP of $8-10, will be available in select US grocery stores, such as Sprouts Farmers Market, Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods this year as well as online on the Enlightened website.
