Biotiful Dairy has entered a new category with a line of ‘light and fruity’ cultured yogurts that claim to naturally support immunity.
The line features four all-natural flavours: original, raspberry & pomegranate, mango & lime, and honey & ginger.
Made by fermenting British milk with authentic live kefir cultures, Biotiful then adds real fruit to create its range of yogurts, which are said to offer a natural source of protein, calcium and vitamins B12 and B2. Like the rest of its portfolio, the kefir yogurts contain no added sugar.
With its new line, Biotiful hopes to appeal to a wider audience and extend the consumption occasion across the whole day, providing an option for breakfast, dessert or a snack.
“With immunity and gut health higher on the consumers agenda than ever, we’re delighted to be able to bring our expertise in kefir making to the yogurt category,” said Biotiful founder, Natasha Bowes.
She added: “Our aim is to cater for more occasions and consumers looking to upgrade their yogurt with a product that combines the very best in nutrition, quality and taste.”
The new yogurts shortly follow the launch of a line of kefir shots that contain 30 billion active cultures per small bottle.
Biotiful’s kefir yogurts are available to buy in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide for an RRP of £0.75 per 130g pot and £1.75 for a 400g pot.
