Campbell’s-owned beverage and dressing brand Bolthouse Farms has released a new line of smoothies and protein drinks, as well more dressing varieties.
Bolthouse Farms B Balanced smoothies are said to have a lighter consistency and less sugar than other smoothies, and are available in four flavours: sweet green, a combination of kiwi, apple, pineapple and cucumber; strawberry banana; tropical, a blend of mango, passionfruit and guava; and berry, a mix of blackberry, strawberry and apple.
Meanwhile the Bolthouse Farms B Strong protein beverages have 16 grams of protein per serving and are also sold in four flavours: chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and vanilla chai.
Available as of March 2018, Bolthouse Farms B line of beverages will have a recommended retail price (RRP) of $2.99 per 15.2oz bottle.
Bolthouse Farms said that as consumers gravitate from shelf stable to refrigerated and organic dressing options, it has created new conventional and organic dressings with no added artificial flavours or preservatives.
The organic dressings are available in 12oz bottles in three flavours, priced at $4.49: three herb vinaigrette; roasted reds, a blend of roasted red bell peppers, tomatoes, and jalapeno; and lemon basil vinaigrette.
The two conventional dressings – sweet heat Sriracha and avocado greed goddess – are available in 14oz bottles with a $3.49 RRP.
The release follows on from the launch last year of a range of lighter, organic salad dressings.
Todd Putman of Campbell’s said: “We’re committed to creating more great-tasting and nutritious options to support consumers’ evolving lifestyles and nutritional needs.
“Our new Bolthouse Farms dressing innovations and B line of beverages offer consumers a greater variety of healthier options as they explore their wellness journey.”
