SHS Drinks has relaunched its range of Bottlegreen cordials, sparkling presses, and tonics, featuring designs by brand and design agency Ziggurat Brands.
The designs from Ziggurat create an “iconic and ownable house style” for the range, while also building on the personalities of the different variants. The look of the cordials has been enhanced, while the sparkling pressé and mixers have been given greater flair and dynamism, the London-based agency said.
The redesign extends the two companies’ decade-long partnership, and represents the largest major change to the brand since Ziggurat’s previous design work in 2011.
Jennie Speers, brand marketing manager for Bottlegreen, said: “Bottlegreen is the category leader, but this is a fast-evolving and growing category. We wanted to refresh the packaging to remind consumers what they love about Bottlegreen, and to ensure it retains its category leadership. Ziggurat Brands has always produced beautiful and commercially effective work for us, and so was the natural choice for this project.
“The team at Ziggurat Brands has created a refreshing and contemporary new look for Bottlegreen. Inspired by the brand’s Cotswolds heritage and its modern approach to both flavours and ingredients, this new design also incorporates a stylish non-drip pourer which will make it even easier for people to enjoy Bottlegreen.”
Chris Mettrick, creative director for Ziggurat Brands, added: “We commissioned the artist, Dessy, to create an inspiring illustration style, [and] a lettering artist to redraw the logo. The result is a more fluid and elegant look, and this is complemented with the introduction of print finishes and intricate details which subtly drive premium cues and increase desirability.
“Almost works of art, these products from Bottlegreen elevate any occasion. Our designs recognise the bucolic roots of this brand but also emphasise the understated elegance that has seen it become such a strong and confident category leader.”
