From the award-winning makers of British Cassis, British Framboise is a seasonal drink, simply made from locally grown raspberries, sugar and a little champagne yeast. Its intense fruitfulness makes it ‘the perfect addition to a romantic cocktail’.
The alcoholic raspberry mixer, by Lyonshall, Herefordshire-based Whittern Farms, is packaged in a 375ml glass bottle.
Jo Hilditch came up with the idea of creating the original British Cassis alcoholic mixer after spending ten years running her family’s blackcurrant farm in Herefordshire.
Inspired by the popular Kir Royale, Jo wanted to use the family crops to create a modern twist on the traditional French crème de cassis. By using methods similar to wine production rather than distillation, she created this fresh, punchy British alternative, and British Cassis was born.
British Framboise, joins original Cassis, plus British Fraise and British Poire.
