Britvic has expanded its Robinsons drinks portfolio with two new cordials as it hopes to attract more UK shoppers to the premium squash category.
Robinsons Fruit Creations strawberry and watermelon, and limited-edition Fruit Cordials crushed apple and cinnamon will go on sale from 1 October.
The Fruit Creations and Fruit Cordials lines were introduced by Britvic earlier this year, both of which are targeted at adults.
Britvic said the crushed apple and cinnamon flavour, which can be enjoyed hot or cold, aims to offer consumers an alternative to soft drinks when as the weather turns colder.
Retailing at £2.49, Robinsons Fruit Cordials crushed apple and cinnamon features a blend of seasonal flavours and will be available in 500ml glass bottles to enhance its premium look and feel.
Meanwhile, the Robinsons Fruit Creations strawberry and watermelon variant, which is said to contain twice the fruit of Robinsons’ core squash line, will be sold in 1-litre bottles for £1.99.
A Britvic spokesperson said: “The launch of Cordials and Fruit Creations has really helped transform the Robinsons brand. As well as turning the flavour concentrates category into growth, the new ranges have successfully attracted new shoppers into the brand and category, with 32.8% spend coming from new shoppers.
“Our new variants will offer consumers even more reasons for adults to buy into the category with two enticing flavour combinations, paving the way for further growth for these successful ranges.”
