Australian soft drink manufacturer Bundaberg is preparing to usher in the summer months with its three day-brewed craft ginger beer.
The beverage is carefully brewed at the family-owned company’s brewery in the Queensland city of Bundaberg, from which it takes its name. The five-step brewing process combines locally sourced ginger and cane sugar, which it said help to create Bundaberg’s “natural flavours”.
“There’s a little secret to unlocking this big flavour,” the brand added, “simply invert the bottle for a few seconds before you pop the top, so the real pieces of ginger are evenly mixed through the drink”.
Now, Bundaberg is seeking to enhance its appeal to UK consumers ahead of the summer trading period. The company’s drinks are sold in 30 countries worldwide – and its ginger beer is available in the UK in four-packs of 375ml bottles with a recommended retail price of £4.49, from retailers such as Waitrose, Tesco and Costco.
