Cadbury Dairy Milk will bring back its tiffin product line this summer to help drive excitement and growth within the tablets category.
Available to order from 1 June, the limited-edition 95g tablet combines the classic tastes and textures of biscuit and fruit, covered in Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate. Aimed at the whole family, it will have a recommended retail price of £1.49 per bar, with an additional promotional price of £1.
Cadbury Dairy Milk tiffin was available in the UK over a decade ago and is being brought back to the market, following the success of Dairy Milk’s previous summer limited-edition, strawberries and crème.
Mondelēz International will be supporting the extension with digital activity, and point-of-sales materials will be available to help retailers build awareness in store.
Matthew Williams, marketing director for Mondelēz International, said: “We know that consumers are looking for new tastes, experiences and textures so with its classic recipe, we believe this limited-edition tablet will deliver an exciting eating experience. Cadbury Dairy Milk tiffin was a huge success with consumers, so much so that consumers have been appealing for its return on social media over the last few years. Retailers should stock up now to make the most of the opportunity.”
