Nordic wine specialist Carl Vin & Wine has merged with local alcohol beverage platform Spivi Scandinavia, in an effort to increase market share.
Following the transaction, the merger will operate under the new name Carl Wine.
Spivi Scandinavia is an alcohol beverage platform which operates across all Nordic markets. The company’s brand portfolio includes Små Shots, Stay, Copenhagen Sparkling Team Company, Pallini and Rock Shots.
“The partnership between Carl Vin & Wine and Spivi is a perfect match combining knowhow with an amazing agile platform. The partnership is expected to result in much greater efficiencies and significantly increase in our market share across the Nordics,” said Michael Carl, founder of Carl Vin & Wine.
Carl Vin & Wine’s portfolio features Merotto prosecco, Maxime Blin Champagne and Leoville Barton. The company selects its wines based on relationships with partners and producers, and also conducts its own wine production at Chateau de Seguin in Bordeaux.
“Quality will never go out of style and Carl Wine brings great quality wines from some of the most well-known regions in the world,” said Thomas Jörgensen, founder and chairman of Spivi Scandinavia.
“Applying Spivi’s vast experience of brand building, know-how and innovative approach to the makers will help to further accelerate the growth of Carl Wine in the Nordic markets.”
