Netherlands-based premium cheese producer Landana has announced the introduction of two “unique” varieties of cheese.
The forest fruit, and truffle and porcini mushroom varieties are both free from colourings, preservatives, and artificial flavourings; are naturally gluten-free; and contain less than 0.1g of lactose in every 100g of cheese.
The truffle and porcini cheese “has a delicious, earthy taste” that combines black truffle, porcini mushroom and fenugreek seeds, while the forest fruit variant “is a mild cheese with a sweet, fruit flavour” that comes from fine pieces of strawberry and blackcurrants combined with Dutch goat’s cheese, Landana said.
The company added: “Landana is a delicious Dutch cheese of distinction, loved for its unique, creamy flavour, incredible quality and wide range of flavourful varieties. Landana cheeses are prepared using traditional cheese making techniques that have been handed down from generation to generation; methodology has changed very little over time.”
