Olivia by Adam Handling is a brand new range of world-class olive oils and sherry vinegar now available to the hospitality sector.
Scottish chef Handling has worked with his partner Macarena Vila-Onieva and her family, whose award-winning winery and oil mill Vinolea is in Cordoba, Spain, to produce a unique taste of the Mediterranean to bring back to restaurants in the UK.
With 40 years of experience, Vinolea utilises traditional methodology and has exceptional product knowledge and expertise. In this new partnership their exceptional products will be available in the UK for the first time.
The range includes Hojiblanca-Picual extra virgin olive oil, which utilises the olive varieties of Cordoba where the Hojiblanca dominates the Picual and creates a light oil with balanced bitterness and a peppery finish.
Arbequina Extra virgin olive oil offers a slightly sweeter flavour with smooth characteristic and an almost almond-like aroma. Olivia by Adam Handling also includes an aromatic sherry vinegar made with sweet wine grapes from the Pedro Ximenez variety and aged in oak barrels.
Adam Handling is Scottish chef of the year 2015.
