CSI has developed a new solution called ScanCap, which uses 2D barcodes, for application either inside or outside of a closure. This technology introduces a powerful platform to support a brand owner’s mobile marketing activities right from the package itself.
The solution leverages a unique code that can be printed as small as a quarter of an inch, and can be read instantly with the ScanLife app on millions of web-enabled camera phones.
CSI has already completed internal testing needed to print the code on a variety of closure substrates and sizes, and is now seeking global brand owner partners for initial market testing.
