Condiments brand Colman’s has unveiled new pie meal mixes to give consumers meal inspiration and ‘confidence in the kitchen’.
The meal makers are now available in the UK in four flavours: fish, vegetable, chicken and steak. Colman’s aims to tap into the popularity of pies in the UK and appeal to eager cooks who want to make the dishes from scratch.
Each sachet is sold with a recommended retail price of £1.05, with packaging in line with the rest of the Colman’s recipe mix range to ensure the products are recognisable on shelf.
Camilla Williamson, Colman’s savoury brand manager at Unilever UK, said: “Colman’s is a truly British brand with many years of experience in creating delicious recipe mixes, so it felt natural to extend our portfolio to include traditional British pie variants.
“With the number of people cooking British dishes on the rise and the average meal prep time shrinking to 35 minutes, our latest additions are designed to make the cooking process quicker and easier for consumers, whilst also providing them with meal inspiration and confidence in the kitchen.”
