Coca-Cola owned coffee chain Costa Coffee has announced that it will be trialling its new hot and iced drinks machine across selected areas in Bristol, UK.
The company claims that the Costa Express Hot & Iced Drinks Machine is “the world’s first integrated self-serve coffee machine”, delivering both hot and iced beverages to consumers.
Customers will be able to choose from more than 500 different hot and iced drinks, including cappuccino and iced vanilla latte. Costa Express Hot & Iced Drinks Machine also offers a selection of iced fruit cordials, which includes Strawberry and Lime flavour.
Costa Express UK&I’s director Nick Orrin, said: “Costa Express is synonymous with exceptional coffee on the go, so we’re delighted to begin trialling our Costa Express Hot & Iced drinks machine in Bristol this summer”.
He continued: “The technology is nothing short of a gold-standard level of innovation – a world’s first for the self-service coffee machine industry – and we’re proud to lead the charge as our customers can now enjoy their favourite hot or iced barista quality, machine crafted coffee.”
Costa Coffee will be testing the machine in over 40 Costa Express in Bristol over the course of the next two months.
