Cracker brand Ritz has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of Cheese Crispers in the US.
New Jersey-headquartered Ritz’s new snack is available in Cheddar and Four Cheese & Herb flavours.
The ‘light and crispy’ offering joins snacks including Crisp & Thins, Toasted Chips, Cracker Sandwiches and Originals as part of the Mondelēz-owned brand’s portfolio.
Patty Gonzalez, senior director of marketing at Mondelēz, said: “We are always looking for ways to bring our loyal and enthusiastic fans innovative products that will ‘wow’ their taste buds and add more fun to snack time, and we think new Ritz Cheese Crispers will give snack lovers exactly what they’re looking for – the perfect combination of cheesy flavour and crispy texture.
“Some fans will love the crispy texture, while others will love the cheesy flavour. But we think fans will unanimously agree that they are really delicious.”
The introduction of the brand’s latest snack offering is being supported by a ‘multimillion-dollar’ marketing campaign.
Ritz Cheese Crispers are available, for an RRP of $3.62, online and from retailers nationwide in the US.
