Crown has collaborated with specialist tea brand Løv Organic to produce a range of premium tins, inspired by the brand’s ethos of respect for the environment.
Løv Organic chose metal as the best packaging material to convey its brand values and deep respect for nature, briefing Crown to produce a tin that exudes minimalist modernity and simultaneously recognises the importance of sustainability. The metal can is fully recyclable, as it can be infinitely recycled with no loss of physical properties, and, Crown explained, the recycling process for metal generates less in carbon emissions the more time that metal is recycled. This reduces the need to extract and use virgin metal, allowing brands to preserve natural resources and contribute hugely to the circular economy.
The intricate opening of the tin complements the overall premium look, creating a collectable and iconic product, Crown added. Its expert team created 30 different coloured containers, all of which were designed to appeal to customers and stand out on the retail shelf. Brightly coloured, with hints of Nordic influences, high-resolution printing techniques bring the images on the tin close to photographic quality.
The cans are made in Europe and make for an ideal gifting or upcycling idea.
Løv Organic is available in a variety of different versions, including herbal tea, rooibos and classic black teas such as Earl Grey and Jasmine.
