DanoneWave-owned Stok has expanded its range of cold brew beverages with the introduction of two new cold brew drinks, including a high-protein coffee variant.
The Stok Protein Cold Brew Coffee contains 16g of protein per serving, which the brand claims is the equivalent of “two large eggs and a slice of bacon”.
Stok cold brews the drink for 10 hours before adding a shot of espresso to add an extra caffeine kick.
The brand has also introduced a new range of cold brewed teas called Stok Yerba Mate Cold Brew Teas.
Initially available in two flavours, the cold brew tea range will include ‘Slightly Sweet’ and ‘Peach’ flavours, and the brand claims the drinks contain 75% more caffeine than “standard ready-to-drink iced teas.”
Lindsey Morgan, STōK’s director of marketing said: “At STōK, we are obsessed with great coffee, but we are thrilled to expand beyond coffee to tea, with a delicious, not-too-sweet Yerba Mate Tea that delivers that great tasting caffeine boost our consumers have come to know and love.”
Both new lines will be available nationwide in 48 oz bottles from US retailers from March 2018.
