Danone has announced its intention to extend its Yogurteria yogurt shop franchise by opening 15 new outlets before the end of next year.
Launched in 2009, the brand currently operates 22 franchises in major cities across Spain and Andorra, including Barcelona, Madrid and Zaragoza. Its latest announcement of planned growth follows the inauguration of eight new outlets during 2014.
A statement from the company said: “With this business model, Yogurteria seeks to expand its presence in tourist areas or large cities with the creation of new outlets under the support of the Danone Group.
“Thus, it will be the company who directly manage new franchises and advise stakeholders with ongoing training and a system of centralised purchasing.”
The exact locations of the 15 new stores have not yet been confirmed.
