Danone’s Innovation Incubator has partnered with Sainsbury’s Future Brands to launch a new chocolate dessert brand in the UK.
The Pati & Coco range features a layer of dark chocolate on top, with patisserie folds of ganache and sheets of chocolate underneath, ending with a biscuit layer at the base.
Four flavours are available: ganache and choc, praline and choc, caramel and choc, and pistachio and choc.
“We’re delighted to be bringing this divine chocolate dessert to the market,” said Julia Lowbridge, marketing manager of Danone’s Innovation Incubator.
“True to the spirit of the Danone Incubator, it has been developed to meet new needs not currently addressed by our other brands, with a targeted launch plan. It’s an unapologetically indulgent treat to be enjoyed from time to time for when you deserve a moment to yourself.”
Pati & Coco is launching with a PR, social and digital marketing campaign as well as in-store sampling.
Each dessert is packaged in an 80g glass pot. The range is available in packs of two in Sainsbury’s and Booths stores in the UK for £3.50.
