Diageo releases new Captain Morgan limited-edition cherry vanilla rum

Diageo has announced the launch of a limited-edition cherry vanilla-flavoured version of its Captain Morgan spiced rum brand. 

Captain Morgan Cherry Vanilla features a blend of the brand’s signature spiced rum with dark cherries, vanilla and spice.

“Captain Morgan has a history of experimenting with new flavours,” said Captain Morgan’s VP, Sam Salameh. “For cherry vanilla, we used inspiration from the past to create something new. We wanted to give people the comfort of a flavour they love, our spiced rum, with a twist that would inspire experimentation whether an ice cream float or their own personal creation.”

Captain Morgan Cherry Vanilla, which has a 30% abv, is available for a limited time across the US and Canada in a 750ml bottle for an SRP of $15.99.
