Dr Pepper’s Canada Dry has released a new Ginger Ale and Lemonade drink for the US market.
The drink is made from a blend of Canada Dry’s signature ginger ale and a dash of lemonade made from real fruit juice, and contains 140 calories per can.
Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Lemonade is available now from selected US retailers in 12 fl oz cans, and can be drunk on its own or used as a mixer for spirits.
Dave Falk, vice-president of marketing at Canada Dry said: “Canada Dry has seen eleven years of consecutive growth, which is a testament to our consumer loyalty and ability to develop great tasting flavour combinations, taste-tested and approved by our consumers.”
To accompany the launch of the drink, the company has commisioned a new marketing campaign across TV and digital platforms which features actor Cullen Moss playing ‘Ginger Man’, and giving tips to consumers on how to enjoy the drink.
The advertisements have been created by advertising agency Deutsch, and Doris Chung, senior vice-president, and creative director at Deutsch added: “Relaxing with a Canada Dry has always been part of its heritage.
“With the launch of its new product, Ginger Ale & Lemonade, we were able to bring this concept to life through ‘Ginger Man.’ We’re excited to debut this modern guru and share the secrets of relaxation with the world.”
