Keurig Dr Pepper and AB InBev joint venture, Drinkworks, has partnered with spirits and wine company Brown-Forman Corporation to develop signature cocktails for the Drinkworks Home Bar system.
Made in November 2018, the joint venture saw Keurig Dr Pepper and AB InBev launch Drinksworks Home Bar by Keurig, an appliance which prepares cocktails, beers and ciders at the touch of a button.
The move will expand Drinkworks beverage portfolio to include new cocktails made with several Brown-Forman spirits, such as Jack Daniels, Herradura and Chambord. It will also feature classic cocktails like Margaritas and Manhattans.
Drinkworks CEO Nathaniel Davis said: “Our goal has always been to elevate at-home entertaining experiences, and we’re excited to add even more variety to our growing cocktail portfolio with spirits from brands our users already love and trust.”
“By using the Drinkworks Home Bar system, consumers can serve premium cocktails crafted with well-known brands such as Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Gentleman Jack, Chambord, and Herradura,” said Erin Schlader, senior vice-president of Brown-Forman.
Schlader added: “Many people love cocktails and want to offer variety without worrying about recipes or a list of ingredients. The Drinkworks Home Bar is a great innovation and Brown-Forman is proud to be at the forefront.”
The Drinksworks Home Bar by Keurig is available in several US states online and in-store. With the initial selection expecting to hit the market in mid-2020, the co-branded cocktails will be produced by Drinkworks and available on its website.
Earlier this year, US e-commerce company Thirstie partnered with Drinkworks, enabling visitors to the Drinkworks website to purchase alcohol directly without needing to redirect to a third-party point of sale.
