Scottish gin distillery Dunnet Bay Distillers has released its latest seasonal line called Autumn Edition Rock Rose gin.
Featuring the same botanicals as the brand’s Rock Rose gin, the citrus elements have been lowered to make the berries and spice more prominent.
The new variant features a host of locally-grown and fruits and botanicals. These include blackberries, raspberries as well as blaeberries from the Dunnet area and Vietnamese coriander and nasturtium grown at the distillery.
The company’s ceramic bottle design has also been given an autumnal makeover, with the leaves turned to hues of oranges and browns.
Dunnet Bay Distillers co-founder Martin Murray said: “Our seasonal editions are extra special, as they are small batch and crafted with ingredients from our gardens and local forest. For autumn, the flavour profile is all about berries and spice and we suggest serving it with some fresh blueberries and basil.”
Husband and wife team Martin and Claire Murray set up the business in 2014. They hand craft their spirits using a traditional copper pot still, before each bottle is individually sealed and signed.
