Duravant has acquired Wulftec International, a manufacturer of semi-automatic end-of-line stretch wrapping equipment.
US-based Duravant said the deal will bolster its end-of-line portfolio of packaging solutions and extend its integration and automation capabilities.
For over 25 years, Wulftec has designed, engineered and manufactured stretch wrapping and strapping equipment from its headquarters in Quebec, Canada.
As well as the food and beverage industry, the company delivers packaging solutions for the distribution, construction and logistics sectors.
Duravant CEO Mike Kachmer said: “We are very pleased to welcome the Wulftec team to the Duravant family. Wulftec has successfully built long-standing relationships with blue-chip customers through their partnership-based approach with certified distributors, integrators and direct sales agents that deliver expert local support. The Wulftec name is synonymous with quality and innovation in the marketplace, and we look forward to continuing that tradition of excellence.”
He added: “Our partnership with Wulftec extends Duravant’s reach in the end-of-line packaging segment. We truly value Wulftec’s commitment to quality and unwavering dedication to servicing the customer which align with Duravant’s core values and operating principles.”
Wulftec director of sales Priscille Tremblay said: “We see tremendous opportunities to bring Wulftec to the next level, supported by a financially solid group who has visions and values that are in perfect alignment with ours. All of our partners and employees should be proud of what Wulftec is today and their contribution to this great success.”
