Free range egg producer, Egg Innovations, has announced its acquisition of fresh snacking brand Peckish from Sonoma Brands in an all-stock deal.
Peckish – which joins brands including Blue Sky Family Farms as part of Egg Innovations’ portfolio – offers a range of snacks featuring cooked egg paired with a ‘crispy dip’.
The brand was developed by Sonoma Brands and marks its third incubated concept. The range aims to provide a ready-to-eat protein option that can be enjoyed on the go.
Sonoma Brands will continue to be involved in supporting Peckish’s expansion, while also partnering with Egg Innovations to grow the Blue Sky egg brand and support its retail expansion.

Egg Innovations president and CEO, John Brunnquell, added: “With the acquisition of the Peckish brand, Egg Innovations continues its leadership in the premium ethical egg case. We are very excited to establish a relationship with Jon Sebastiani and Sonoma Brands.”
The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Earlier this year, Sonoma Brands acquired Chef’s Cut Real Jerky Co. for an undisclosed amount.
