In its eighth consecutive year, the World Dairy Innovation Awards have once again seen wonderful entries that shed light on the latest trends and consumer tendencies, as well as creating new product areas in the dairy industry.
220 new products, launched in the last year, competed in 18 categories and reflected the demands for healthier, greener and more convenient options, in line with the rising trends in the food and beverage industry at large.
Healthy, home-baking recipes and high-quality, artisanal classics were adapted for on-the-go lifestyles; the product range fit for special dietary requirements saw further growth with unique and creative free-from alternatives; and products became smarter, more eco-friendly and more functional.

The winners and finalists will be announced during the 9th Global Dairy Congress on the 24 June at a special gala dinner at Koepelkerk in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
