Beyond Better Foods-owned ice cream brand Enlightened has teamed up with digital food media brand Delish to launch a new keto collection flavour in the US.
P.B. Cookie & Brownie Dough is now available online and at Whole Foods Market nationwide.
The new flavour features vanilla ice cream packed with peanut butter cookie dough, brownie dough, chocolate chips and a peanut butter swirl.
Like all Keto Collection flavours, each serving of the new variant contains 1g net carbs and less than 1g of sugar.
P.B. Cookie & Brownie Dough is gluten-free and made with cream to deliver a high-fat, low-carbohydrate nutritional profile that meets a keto diet.
Enlightened’s ice cream is sweetened with monk fruit and erythritol, zero-calorie natural sweeteners that won’t spike blood sugar.
Earlier this year, Enlightened expanded its Keto Collection portfolio, initially launched last August, with a Caramel dark chocolate peanut bar and Caramel chocolate double dough pint.
“For years, Delish fans have loved hearing about our new products, especially our lowest-carb options. We couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate our dessert-loving communities than to come together to create the most whimsical keto-friendly ice cream in the aisle,” Enlightened founder and CEO, Michael Shoretz said.
Joanna Saltz, editorial director of Delish, added: “Over at Delish, we have seen the low-carb audience grow tremendously in the last few years. Our team works hard to bring readers keto recipes that make one forget they’re ditching carbs, and it’s working.
“Keto recipes and videos are the top viewed and searched on our site. This alignment with Enlightened is the perfect way to help those cutting carbs to still have a sweet treat.”
P.B. Cookie & Brownie Dough is available to purchase online or at Whole Foods for an RRP of $5.99 per pint.
From today, for the next 30 days, Enlightened is donating 50% of its profits from EatEnlightened.com to #GetUsPPE, an initiative to help provide frontline healthcare workers with the protection they need during the pandemic.
