Black Insomnia Coffee Company has unveiled new drip bags, which it claims offer the same ‘huge caffeine kick’ as the brand’s regular brewed coffee.
The bags are said to enable coffee drinkers to make super-strong gourmet coffee wherever they are, without compromising on taste or quality.
As well as offering convenience, the brand says that its new drip bags reduce mess and have environmental benefits. Made from paper, they are reportedly biodegradable and easy to recycle.
Hot water is all that is needed to make a coffee using Black Insomnia drip bags, but spices such as ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove can also be added.
The UK-based brand claims that its coffee is more than four times the average strength of other typical high-street brands and coffee shops, with 1,105mg of caffeine per 12oz mug.
“Drip bags are already very popular in Japan and China where coffee lovers have recognised they can get the elusive combination of both quality and convenience by using them,” said Black Insomnia CEO, Jim Walker.
“We want to make it possible for our customers to be able to enjoy our great coffee wherever and whenever they want it.”
Black Insomnia Coffee Company sells directly to customers in the UK and the US, and via distributors in other markets. The brand says that it also plans to roll out to retailers in the UK.
