Fakeer wanted something ‘3D’ to celebrate ‘the human ideals of strength and control’. It opted for a shaped bottle ‘raising the middle finger’ – a distinct departure from traditional bottle shapes.
The complex geometry was a challenge even for PET Engineering’s specialists. The middle finger element, for example, had to be positioned perpendicular to the base to allow insertion of the stretch rod and blow moulding.
Once the anatomically accurate 3D model was complete, the team focused on removal of the bottle from the mould, made trickier by the undercut sections of the hand.
Is Fakeer Energy Drink innovative or inappropriate?
