Hungarian food company Felföldi has unveiled a range of dry cheese snacks as it targets sales in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Called Let’s Cheese!, the line is available two variants – natural and cheddar – and is aimed at young adults.
Mindful that a third of the Middle East’s population is under 30, Felföldi has chosen the Yummex Dubai trade show for the launch of the range.
Felföldi said it is confident Let’s Cheese! will deliver results; European test markets are said to have shown promising results and the company already has trade links in the MENA region.
Company owner Joseph Felföldi said: “When it comes to food, consumers are much more critical than ever before. Demand for high-quality snacking is rising and that’s exactly why we developed Let’s Cheese! especially for the new generation who don’t want to choose between fun and quality. Furthermore, we are delighted to be representing Hungarian innovation at Yummex in Dubai.”
Felföldi’s other products include cake mixes and candy-filled straws. In 2017, the company had net sales of €3.8 million and 350 employees.
