Fentimans has launched two new mixer variants to meet growing consumer demand for unique flavour combinations.
Pink rhubarb and oriental yuzu tonic will be added to the British brand’s mixer portfolio, following on from the introduction of its premium Connoisseurs Tonic Water earlier this year.
The rhubarb tonic is said to combine the tangy taste of rhubarb with candied undertones, reminiscent of vintage sweets.
Fentimans said that with a growing number of people seeking to discover new and different flavours, yuzu tonic has been developed to deliver an innovative, yet refreshing mixer.
Andrew Jakson, Fentimans marketing director, said: “since the launch of our pioneering pink grapefruit tonic water, we are seeing an increasing number of consumers experimenting with different flavour combinations. The roll out of rhubarb and yuzu flavoured tonic provides this growing audience with increased flavour options that can make every day classic spirits taste even better.”
“With a continued focus on innovation and leading the introduction of new flavours to the category, we have high hopes for this launch, in what has been an outstanding year for Fentimans.”
Both tonic waters are available in the UK in 125m, 200ml and 500ml size formats. The launch will be supported by an outdoor, experiential and digital marketing campaign.
Earlier this year Fentimans overhauled its image with a £1.2 million rebranding drive, in a bid to appeal to younger consumers.
