British mixer brand Fever-Tree has launched a range of low-calorie mixers in the UK, made by blending fruit sugars and the same botanicals used in the brand’s regular range.
The Refreshingly Light line is now available and consists of: ginger beer, ginger ale, lemon tonic water, elderflower tonic water, premium Indian tonic water, Mediterranean tonic water, aromatic tonic water, Madagascan cola, and Sicilian lemonade.
Over two years in development, the range aims to provide consumers with the greatest possible choice, according to Fever-Tree. Each of the beverages contains 5g of sugar per 100ml.
Fever-Tree innovation manager Rose Black said: “At Fever-Tree we are proud of our position as pioneers of the premium mixer and how we have transformed the wider mixer category. The Refreshingly Light range reflects the same commitment to the highest quality ingredients, botanicals and taste that is at the heart of all our products.”
“Fever-Tree was the first company to produce a premium, superior tasting low-calorie tonic water free from artificial sweeteners, and we are delighted to be able to offer consumers low-calorie variants of their favourite Fever-Tree flavours without comprising on quality or taste.”
Last July, Fever-Tree co-founder Tim Warrilow offloaded a £28.9 million stake in the business after the company reported first-half revenue of £71.9 million – up 77%.
