Austria’s Pinzgau Milch was showing its range of Promilar vital drinks, high-calorie milk replacement drinks designed for older consumers, especially those who have problems eating.
The 200ml bottles are ideal for hospitals and nursing homes and a guaranteed way for carers to make sure patients are receiving a known amount of calories.
Bio Green Dairy, a UK boutique producer of yogurt drinks launched Good Heavens!, a range of premium adult drinking yogurts. The probiotic, low-fat 250ml drinks are aimed at an adult audience eager for indulgent, yet healthy products.
Also for adults in a range of ice cream from the Patchwork Traditional Food Company. Five varieties, each with a seductive alcohol-infused caramel ripple.
Among them – Bourbon soaked blueberry, Calvados soaked apple, tequila soaked cranberry, Belgian chocolate chunk with Chilli caramel ripple and Vanilla pod with Anglesey sea-salted caramel ripple.
Turning to the younger end of the age scale, UK-based Dairy Partners launched Peelable Cheese last year. Made with 100% natural cheese, the cheese strings are available in original and twirler versions.
Now the company has added a Simpsons branded pack that is bound to attract the attention of youngsters.
In Cyprus, Kourishis dairy has introduced a new series of products called BeneVie. Taking contemporary diet patterns into consideration, the company’s R&D department developed a range including a yogurt, dessert yogurts and kefir drinks. The range is prebiotic, probiotic, lactose free and fat free.
