Free Spirit has debuted its new brand offering of premium adult fruit drinks, which will be launched to the on-trade this September.
Created as a standalone and grown-up non-carbonated soft drink, Free Spirit is available in the UK in five blended fruit flavours: blood orange; lemon and yuzu; spiced tomato; apple, mint and lime; and watermelon and peach. The drinks have been conceived in response to consumer demand for a more sophisticated adult soft drink offering and will enhance any bar offering, the newly launched brand said.
The still, craft range has been carefully blended to ensure the drinks are completely natural, have a high fruit content, with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners.
Free Spirit’s Gavin Cox said: “We have spent more than 12 months perfecting the Free Spirit proposition to create the sort of adult soft drink that both our customers and consumers tell us they want – one which is better for you, non-carbonated, made with interesting flavour combinations and ultimately delicious. We have put real thought into each drink, finding unique combinations that complement each other in a surprising way. Then we made sure every blend is balanced perfectly so that the flavour of each ingredient shines through beautifully.

Whilst the 250ml bottled drinks have been designed to be served on their own, each variant also blends perfectly with a range of spirits to allow bartenders to create a unique selection of cocktails and mocktails. The range has flexibility and variety with just a few products, making the best use of limited chiller space, and as a naturally ambient product it can be easily stored. The twist off cap also ensures ease of use, Free Spirit said.
The 250ml range will be supplied exclusively to the on-trade and non-grocery channels. It will allow pubs, hotels, bars and other foodservice operators to offer their guests something new that’s not readily available within the grocery channel.
