Schwan Consumer Brands-owned Freschetta has expanded its range of gluten-free frozen pizzas by introducing two new flavours for the US market.
Spinach & roasted mushroom and Tuscan style chicken flavours will be available from selected retailers from May 2018.
The gluten-free crust has been certified as gluten-free by the National Celiac Association, and the pizzas are marketed towards consumers who cannot consume gluten or those who are seeking gluten-free options.
The spinach & roasted mushroom flavour is made with a blend of mozzarella cheese, spinach, roasted portabellini mushrooms and a cream onion sauce.
Meanwhile, the Tuscan style chicken pizza contains grilled chicken, roasted vegetables, mozzarella cheese and a sauce made from vine-ripened tomatoes.
